Jason Bowser

Jason recently became the Director of the Bartholomew County Youth Services Center on May 2, 2008. Jason has served as the Assistant Director of the Center since 2004. Jason started out as a Youth Care Worker for the Youth Services Center in January 2001-July 2001. Jason then served as an Intake Officer from July 2001-2004. Jason has received a B.A. in Education from the University of Cincinnati in 2000 and a Masters of Science from the University of Cincinnati in 2007.
Jason is a member of the Indiana Juvenile Detention Association and a member of POPAI (Probation Officers Professional Association of Indiana). On the local level, Jason serves as a member of Columbus Rotary, the Bartholomew County System of Care Team, the Juvenile What Works Team, the Project Safe Team of Bartholomew County, and the ATTEND (Agencies Teaming Together Ending Non-Attendance Dilemmas) team.

Anita Biehle

Anita assumed the Assistant Director Position on May 27, 2008. She graduated in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Psychology from Indiana University. Anita began her career with the Center in 1995 as a Youth Care Worker. From April 1996 to May 2008, Anita served as an Intake Officer at the Center. Anita has been the Center's de-escalation and restraint trainer since 2001. She is a member of the National Juvenile Detention Associating, the Probation Officer's Professional Association, and the Indiana Juvenile Detention Association. Anita also serves on a sub-committee of the What Works juvenile team.
