History

The courthouse was built in the early 1870's for a cost of around $225,000.00. Bartholomew Circuit Court is situated in the Ninth Judicial Circuit of Indiana. Also the Circuit Court Judge is responsible for the Youth Services Center, Detention, Shelter and Day Treatment.
