The Hydrology Division of the Bartholomew County Surveyor's Office is responsible for the maintenance, construction, and reconstruction of the county's regulated or legal drains. This division works with and for the Bartholomew County Drainage Board in maintaining these drains. A watershed is determined for each drain and drainage assessments are applied through the offices of the County Auditor and Treasurer.
