Most calls pertain to features and square footage of a property or building. These include year built, square footage, ownership, porches and decks, lot size and assessment. Many times callers just need a Tax ID number or reference to the Treasure's Office. People want to know if their assessment is correct or if there might be errors. Some people think their taxes are too high and want to know if there is mistake on their property record card. We work with the taxpayer and check out all questions in that regard. If our records are wrong they are corrected and the tax-payer is informed.
