Columbus Township Assessor is an elected position for a four year term. I have worked in county government since 1983 in various offices. The Sheriff's Department, Auditor's and Treasurer's Offices. This has been an invaluable experience and has helped tremendously in my present position. As Columbus Township Assessor my goal is to make sure that all Columbus Township property taxpayers have uniform and equitable assessments. I am a member of International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO) and the Indiana Assessor's Association, INC (IAAI). I have completed courses 102 and 300 of IAAO continuing education. I am also a Level I and II Certified Indiana Assessor-Appraiser.

Part time Field Assessor
Max Bradley
2 days a week Max measures new construction and additions. He also tracks all building permits. While working in the field he often observes structures not already on our property record cards, everything from pools, storage sheds to room additions. Property record cards are then corrected and the property owner is then notified of the change in assessment.
